El Diablo

This is the beginning of my Devil card for my Tarot. Of course Jax had to be the Devil. Of course he wouldn't let me fit his feet on the page *grumble grumble bastard grumble* - There, I got his feet, but I had to tape another piece of paper onto the first one.

I want to post the whole process here in order to get the maximum feedback to make a polished work. It wil be in the same Art Nouveau style as my other cards, and eventully there will be a border and background.

*Edit 2 - This is the rough frame. what do you think of the placement? Also, I'm thinking of doing a simple flame motif in the background to keep the figures as the focal point - any thoughts on this?

*Edit 4 - I added in a chain border, based on an idea I got from ~Kth-dragon 's comment. I really need help with the negative space inside the frame - please comment!

*Edit 5 - Here's the chasm bg I was talking about. Does it work? Do any parts need to be modified?

I think this may be my final version until I can get ahold of the right font to match the other cards. The text is just a placeholder now to give you an idea of what it will look like with lettering. Whew.
